Documentation
Learn the whole desk.
Short, honest pages — written alongside the features themselves. The app's own test suite checks that every effect in the build has a home here, so if it exists, it's documented (or loudly on the to-do list).
Start here
- Getting started — Your first ten minutes — the desk, layers and comps, your first animation, and getting a finished file out.
- Working with other software — Every file format Kreativus reads and writes — what comes in editable, what comes in exact, and what to export from the other app instead.
Draw
- Drawing & vectors — The vector toolset — pencil, bezier pen, shapes, scissors, booleans, the Width tool, trim paths, dashes and symmetry.
- Brushes & painting — The natural-media paint engine — 30 tuned brushes across seven families, real wet edges, paper tooth, bristle streaks, and a full brush editor.
- Raster tools — Selections with real Modify tools, the gradient and fill buckets, Liquify, and the AE-style mask stack.
- Animated strokes — Strokes that refuse to sit still — boil, flow, wave, pulse and travel, 33 vector brushes, and the hand-drawn wobble for everything else.
Animate
- Animating — Keyframes, easing, motion paths, loops, parenting and the timeline — the machinery every animation in Kreativus rides on.
- The Animate panel — 76 one-click animation presets — entrances, exits, loops, write-ons and text moves that drop real, editable keyframes.
- Text animation — The text animator — a moving selection sweeps your glyphs and one set of offsets rides it. Typewriters, cascades, waves and scrambles from one mechanism.
- Music & instruments — The Audio layer's built-in synthesizer — real instruments, notes as draggable blocks on the timeline, every edit re-rendered instantly.
- Puppets & character turns — Drop-in limbs that bend properly, dress them in your own art, and give any character real turns — pads, dials and sliders, up to a full 360°.
Effects
- Effects — How the effects rack works — the browser, the quick-add palette, the stack, presets, and why every dial can be keyframed.
- Particles — The universal particle system — emitters, glyphs, layer sprites, trails, a floor and an attractor, driven by closed-form physics that never desyncs.
- Weather — Rain, snow, fog and light rays as one effect — every module answering to the same wind, the same ground and the same clock.
- Shatter — A Voronoi explosion for any layer — drawings, text, video, whole groups — with cracks that spread, chunks that tumble in 2.5D, and a floor to land on.
- Liquid Shapes — Live vector metaballs — separate drawings melt into one gooey body, carve into each other, and boil, while staying real editable vector geometry.
- Physics — Give layers a role — Solid, Obstacle, Animated — and they fall, collide and push each other in real time, obeying the comp's own Gravity.
- Pattern — A generative pattern machine — eight drawing engines crossed with seven driving fields, every dial keyframable, vector output all the way.
- Deconstruct — Take any picture apart into a grid — nine tilings times eight cell styles, halftones and mosaics, scrambles and reveals, all keyframable.
- Generators — Gradient, Gradient Mesh, Fractal Noise, Audio Waveform and Ripple — content drawn from nothing, keyframable and mask-friendly.
- Distort — Twirl, Bend, Wave Warp, Turbulent Displace, Mesh Warp, Corner Pin and Mirrors — the warps, from a one-knob vortex to a hand-posed deformation grid.
- Stylize & finish — Glow, Drop Shadow, Echo, Noise, and the blur & sharpen pair — the finishing rack, deeper than its labels suggest.
- Color & grading — The full grading suite — Color Grading's nine tabs, each of them also on its own, Levels with a live histogram, Curves, scopes, and a dozen more color tools.
3D
- 3D in a 2D world — One World: any layer can become 3D where it stands — extrude drawings and text, build primitives, light with real units, grade through AgX.
- 3D tools — Cloner arrays, path travel, deformers and curve rigs; the CC0 model library, Mixamo characters, and real polygon modelling.
Video & AI
- Video & AI tools — Cutout rotoscoping with SAM-powered Smart Select, Generative Erase, the AI Depth Mask and a full Keyer — all on-device, never metered.
- Tracking & footage — Region motion tracking, a 3D camera solve, and everything footage — trims, speed ramps, unlinked audio, speech and auto-captions.
